October Chapter Meeting: Clumsy Conversations

  • St. Joseph Children's Home 2823 Frankfort Avenue Louisville, KY, 40206 (map)

Getting Comfortable Being Uncomfortable with Clumsy Conversations

Whether you’re just beginning your journey in diversity and inclusion or looking for fresh tools to bring back to your organization, join us for an interactive workshop introducing Clumsy Conversations.

Shenette Swann, Guest Engagement Manager of Training and Inclusion at Marble Kids Museum, developed this framework to spark meaningful discussions around Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA). During this session, you’ll explore the purpose, structure, and best practices for hosting these conversations—then take part in a live discussion right at your table.

Please note that some topics may feel challenging or uncomfortable, but this session provides a supportive, respectful space to grow understanding and empathy.

FREE to Members, $25 Guests, $10 YPAL Members
